When do I need to do a COVID-19 PCR test?
You should conduct a COVID-19 PCR test if you have been exposed to a confirmed COVID-19 positive patient, or if you have symptoms such as cough, loss of taste or/and smell, headache, body pains etc within 2 weeks after suspected exposure to the virus. You should also do a test if you are traveling to a country or with an international airline that requires a PCR test. What do I do if my result turns out to be positive?
Confirmed positive cases are advised to isolate for 10-14 days, eat healthy meals, avoid smoking and drinking alcohol and seek proper care from Health Professionals. For mild to severe case, you can contact our isolation centre for out-patient and in-patient care via 08108248414.
What is an inconclusive COVID-19 PCR result?
An inconclusive COVID-19 PCR Result is neither positive or negative. It might indicate an error in sample collection or very early stage of infection. At LifeCentre Medical Services, we ensure that inconclusive results are communicated to clients and re-testing or resampling is done.
What is the difference between a COVID-19 Rapid Antigen test, an Antibody test and a PCR test?
A COVID-19 Rapid Antigen test is a lateral flow test done to detect the presence of the COVID-19 antigen. A COVID-19 Antibody test is a serology test that detects the presence of antibodies produced by the body in response to a COVID-19 infection. A COVID-19 PCR test is the gold standard test which uses molecular studies to detect the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
Can I book online or walk in for my test?
You can get tested by booking any of our services online, by walking into one of our centres or by contacting our agents via call, Whatsapp or mail.

What is the Turn Around Time for results?
We provide results within 24 hours and less for COVID-19 PCR tests. The TAT for other tests is within 3 hours to 4 days, depending on the particular test.
Do I have to do the COVID-19 PCR test for my child below the age of 10?
Requirements for testing children below the age of 10 should be confirmed with the airline.
I have completed my vaccine dosage. Do I still need to do the test?
Vaccinated travelers need to be tested for COVID-19 if required by their airline or destination country during travel or if experiencing symptoms of the COVID-19 infection.
